Mike Mills has been serving visitors to the Upper Buffalo River since 1976. More recently, Mike's son in law Austin Albers has been handed the reins and continues the BOC tradition of providing top-notch customer experiences. If the river's flowing, call them about renting a canoe. If it's not, check out their awesome zipline operation or their rental cabins. If you're a Mountain Biker, talk to them about their downhill trails and shuttle services.
Lost Valley Canoes & Lodging offers canoes, kayaks, and rafting on the Buffalo National River. We provide vehicle shuttles for floaters and hikers. Come stay in one of our three unique cabins with hot tubs, the treehouse, the bunkhouse, or primitive campsites. We have coin operated hot showers available for our guests and the general public. Our Historic General Store has gas & groceries, along with a whole line of organic & local food, arts, crafts, and camping/river/hiking gear & accessories. Free Wifi!
Their mission is to "advocate, build, maintain and preserve" sustainable multi-use soft surface trails in the Arkansas Ozarks, while providing opportunities for mountain bikers and other outdoor enthusiasts of all ages to live healthy, active lifestyles. The Upper Buffalo Mountain Bike Trail offers about 40 miles of singletrack surrounding the highest point in the Ozark Mountains. This gem of a Midwest ride laces through the headwaters of the Buffalo National River on a mixture of narrow, hand-built singletrack and machine-cut flow trails.
This is one of the best resources for detailed river information on Ozark whitewater rivers. It has levels, descriptions and directions to the many places we have (when there's enough rain!) to kayak and canoe.

The Arkansas Canoe Club is a recreational organization consisting of over 600 member households representing seven chapters in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. ACC Members love to paddle the rivers, streams, bayous and lakes of The Natural State and beyond.
